Avenue Junot

Photos by Linda Donahue

On the northern side of Montmartre, down the hill from the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur and the Place du Tertre, is the quiet Caulaincourt-Lamark neighborhood, where you’ll find the picturesque Avenue Junot. This narrow, tree-lined street winds around itself, with some of the most magnificent buildings in Paris standing proudly along it. Here are a few photos of some of the details along this distinctly Parisian avenue.

Love these shots!! The Lamarck area is one of my favorite spots in the 18th. Can’t wait to see the rest of your photos!

    Linda,
Bravo, some of your best. You know I love this place in Paris as much as you do. I hope you’re wringing every drop out of Paris my friend!

So lovely! I just came back from Montmartre [literally steps from the Lamarck- Caulaincourt Metro]… it was pure bliss. Thank you for taking me back.

as you know, I love this area, too. that’s my next move, to get to the back side of the butte and live there. it’s such a chill/interesting area.

Then it’s quite possible that we’ll be neighbors!
