Paris in Pictures: Jennifer Gerardi

Jennifer Gerardi is a New Yorker fortunate enough to be living in Paris for six months while her husband serves a medical fellowship. This professional artist and photographer (Life Steps Photo) has found  Paris to be an unbelievable inspiration, particularly during the fall and winter seasons.

Jennifer submitted three photographs that the judges adored so much, they had a difficult time choosing a favorite. After much back and forth, they chose the photograph taken outside of the Louvre on a snowy evening. “The street lights had just turned on while we we exiting,” says Jennifer, “so that inspired me to take the photo right then and there.”

Two other photos Jennifer submitted were taken from or of the Eiffel Tower. “The first one is a view from the top of Le Tour Eiffel, and the clouds inspired that photo to be taken,” explains Jennifer. “It was a nice, crisp clear  fall day.” The second photo of the Eiffel Tower, says Jennifer, was taken from Trocadero.

Jennifer won the Missy camera bag in black from Jo Totes.
