Shades of Gray in Paris

paris-gray-wallWho says Paris can’t be beautiful when it’s gray? When you look at these photographs taken by Nichole Robertson, it’s easy to see that the vibrancy of the City of Lights isn’t always black and white.

Nichole Robertson is a writer, a wife and a mother. She’s also the author of the popular blog, Little Brown Pen, a frequent traveler to and part-time resident of Paris, and the proprietor of a shop on Etsy that sells items designed by Nichole and her husband inspired by their trips to Paris.

  1. From the natural, to the industrial, to the street – what a great round up!

I love most the street piece, though I couldn’t decipher all the words. It is quite a beautiful saying, “The soul is a vessel/bowl, the luminous representations/reflections in which the water . . ”

Because I can’t see the last work, I think this translation is off. If you can help a sister out, that would be enlightening;-)

Oh this is genius. I’ve done many many Paris rouge posts on my Paris blog but I must admit, I’ve not thought of gray. Your images are wonderful. Bravo! Now I’m off to your Etsy store.

I’ve been shopping at your Etsy store. What delightful offerings. I’m the proud owner of the clip calendar and a smaller one! Pretty amazing since I too have a Paris calendar! I couldn’t resist yours. I’ll be back I’m sure.

Love these shots – proves that even when Paris is gray and depressing there is still so much beauty!

These are gorgeous shots. Nichole always seems to capture the best of Paris.

The perpetual Paris calendar arrived and while it takes a bit of time to assemble, I can already tell that I am going to love having it hang near my computer, so I can enjoy it everyday. My friends will be very envious!
    MERCI!
